National Minorities Meeting in Charkoff Condemns Anti-semitism Urges Centralization of Colonization

A resolution on anti-Semitism in Soviet Russia was adopted at the conference of the national minorities which was held recently in Charkoff.

The resolution declared that “admitting the growth of anti-Semitism among certain parts of the population in some districts, the conference acknowledges the necessity of combatting this shameful inheritance of Czarism and Petlurism by enlightening the ignorant masses and by turning the Jewish masses to productive work, which is the best means of uprooting race hatred and anti-Semitism.

The conference further stands for the compact centralization of the colonization work which “makes easier the forming of national and cultural administrative organs.”
