Palestine Tourist Season Opens with Arrival of 400

The 1927 Palestine tourist season was inaugurated with the arrival of the “Empress of Scotland” which brought 400 tourists to Palestine for the Christmas holidays.

A large number of tourists are expected to arrive during the next five months. It is estimated that about 10,000, 4,000 more than last year, will come here during the season. The majority of the visitors come from America on World or Mediterranean Cruises.
