The district of Akaba, the region around the port on the Red Sea recently annexed to the Palestine mandated territory, may shortly be inculded in the Southern Palestine District, according to rumors circulated here.
The rumors were strengthened by the departure for Akaba of J. F. Campbell, Commissioner of the Jerusalem-Jaffa District, for the purpose, it was stated, of organizing an administration there.
