A debating team representing the University Zionist Federation of the British Empire will arrive in the United States in April to meet six of the leading chapters of the Avukah, American Student Zionist Federation, it was announced by Max Rhoade, national president of the latter organization at its headquarters here. This is the first time in the history of American Jewry that such a project has been attempted. Godfrey Samuel, son of Sir Herbert Samuel, former High Commissioner of Palestine and now head of the Liberal party in England, may be one of the members of the British team, the final personnel of which has not yet been announced.

Two Zionist subjects will be debated: “Is It Sound Policy to Present Zionism as the Solution of the Jewish Problem?” and “Does the Ancient Jewish Commonwealth as Conceived by Moses and the Prophets, Offer a Sufficiently Advanced and Acceptable Model for the New Jewish Palestine, From the Modern Political, Social and Economic Standpoint?”
