Fifty communities joined with the Jewish community of Philadelphia Sunday night in paying a tribute to Dr. Chaim Weizmann at a farewell dinner in his honor on the eve of his departure following a five month’s stay in this country.

More than three hundred representatives of Region No. 4 of the United Palestine Appeal attended the dinner in the Hotel Bellevue Stratford.

Robert Berstein, Chairman of the local United Palestine Appeal Committee, presided at the dinner. Addresses were delivered by Judge William M. Lewis, National Chairman of the United Palestine Appeal, and by Rabbi Max D. Klein.
