Sir Alfred Mond was the target of an attack by labor M. P.s in the House of Commons yesterday during his address on the Chinese policy of the British government. J. Beckett, Laborite, rose from his seat and shouted “Go back to Poland.”

Other members of the Labor group joined the obstruction and refused to allow Mond to continue his address. Some of the members demanded that Sir Alfred resign from his seat in the House as he had promised. The main point of attack was that Sir Alfred left the Liberal party and joined the Conservatives without testing the feeling of his electorate in a by-election.
