Stresemann Victory Seen in Libel Suit Against Anti-semitic Editor

The verdict in the libel suit brought by Foreign Minister Stresemann against the anti-Semitic editor Mueller will be rendered on Monday, it was stated today. As the suit is drawing to a close it is the general conviction that Mueller will be ordered to pay a fine and to withdraw his charges against Stresemann in connection with his business partnership with Herr Litwin, German Jewish citizen, formerly of Russia. Experts called on the witness stand rendered testimony which made the allegations of Mueller appear unsound and ridiculous.

FREE SYNAGOGUE CELEBRATES 20TH ANNIVERSARY TONIGHT

The Free Synagogue of New York will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of its founding with a banquet at the Hotel Commodore, Sunday night.

The speakers include Governor Alfred E. Smith, Rabbi Nathan Krass, Judge Julian W. Mack, Sir Wyndham Deedes, former Civil Secretary of Palestine; Solomon M. Stroock, President of the New York Federation of Jewish Philanthropic Societies; the Rev. John Haynes Holmes, and the rabbis of the Synagogue, Dr. Stephen S. Wise and Dr. Sidney E. Goldstein.
