The six hospitals affiliated with the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies spent $3,650,000 in caring for the sick last year, it was announced by Sol M. Stroock, President of the federation. The various medical care agencies of the federation accounted for 29,211 patients. Thirty-six percent of all patients were treated free.
