Preparations for beginning the work of construction on the Haifa harbor are being made by the British Colonial Office.

Replying to a question raised in the House of Commons by Commander Kenworthy, Col. Amery, the Colonial Secretary, stated that engineers are being sent to Palestine to prepare plans for the harbor. He was unable to state, however, when the work would begin.
