A strong resolution of protest, condemning the anti-Jewish excesses in Roumania, is expected to be the result of the discussion on the Jewish situation in that country, which will take place at the International conference of the Union of League of Nations Societies, which opened its sessions here yesterday.

The League of Nations Society of Palestine is represented by M. Dizengoff, former mayor of Tel Aviv. The Jewish League of Nations Society of Austria is represented by Rabbi Zevi Chajes and the Bulgarian Jewish society by Mr. Cordous. A representative of the Czcehoslovakian Jewish League of Nations Society is also present.

A report of the situation in Roumania is included in the report of the general secretary of the international Union.
