Another section of Anglo-Jewry was organized to assist in the work of the extended Jewish Agency for Palestine, as a result of steps taken by Liberal Jews here.

A committee consisting of influential members of the Liberal Synagogue of London was formed following a meeting addressed by Col. Frederick H. Kisch. A Society of Liberal and Reform Jews was organized for the object of supporting the work of the Jewish Agency and furthering the interests of progressive Judaism in Palestine.
