Zionists in Roumania Establish Credit Bank

A cooperative bank has been established here on the initiative of the Democratic Zionist fraction “Renasteria.” The object of the new bank is to provide cheap credit aid for Jewish artisans, small traders and members of the liberal professions. The General Zionists are also represented on the Council of the bank.

M. Vecksler is chairman of the bank and the members of the committee include Adolf Bernard, the president of the Zionist Organization of Roumania and Dr. Stern, the chairman of the “Renasteria.”
