The Hospital for Joint Diseases, Madison Avenue and 124th Street, will receive $160,000 in trust and $20,000 outright, according to the terms of the will of Leo L. Doblin, it was announced by Frederick Brown, president of the hospital. Mr. Doblin died on May 17.
The provisions of the will include a trust fund of $100,000 for the erection of a building by the Hospital for Joint Diseases and maintenance of an annex for the free treatment of crippled children; in trust for the building and maintenance of a dormitory and Training School for Nurses, $60,000; outright for the maintenance and operation of a moving picture machine previously presented by Mr. Doblin to the hospital, $10,000; outright for the endowment of two beds for the parents of the deceased, $10,000.
The will also provides that the hospital receive $30,000 towards a pathological endowment upon the death of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Doblin.
