Negotiations have practically been completed with both the Palestine and Egyptian Administrations for the laying of a new cable between Egypt and Palestine. A statment to this effect was made by the Chairman of the Eastern Telegraph Company at the general meeting held here. This cable will put Palestine in direct communication with the main cable system.
