The Jewish population of Ponaviesz has been subjected to attacks by anti-Semitic hooligans assisted by local militia men.

It is not safe for Jews to pass through the streets. The police are passive, taking no action to protect the Jews.

A speaker’s class under the leadership of Maurice Samuel was announced by the New York Chapter of Avukah. American Student Zionist Federation.
