Lively building activity is expected in Palestine as a result of the damages caused by the earthquake.

Several hundred houses throughout the country have been condemned as unsafe. The houses will be destroyed and new ones erected.

Several cases of insanity caused by fright during the earthquake have been reported by hospital authorities. Two Arabs and a Jewish woman have applied to the hospital in Hebron for treatment.
