The demand that the Arabic language should be the only official language in Palestine will be pressed at the Palestinian Arab Congress which will open here in a few days.

Representatives of the two families, Husseini and Nashishibi, which had hitherto been hostile to each other, will participate in the congress. A new executive will be formed with an equal number of representatives from the two families.

A united policy with regard to the government has been decided upon by the two families. They are willing to recognize the British mandate, but they persist in their stand against a large Jewish immigration into the country.
