The disillusionment of the Jewish academic youth in Germany over the treatment accorded Jews in post-war Germany was expressed at the twenty-fifth annual conference of the Federation of German Students of the Jewish Faith, which began its sessions yesterday in Freiburg.
The conference was opened with a service held in the synagogue attended by 300 delegates. The speakers emphasized that the Jewish youth in Germany has done its duty during the war but in this process it has lost its fatherland and must now fight to regain its rights in Germany. The speakers also pointed out that the German students of the Jewish faith have rejected the doctrine of Jewish naionalism because they believe that Jews must find ways of living among the general population and not segregate themselves in a separate group.
The conference adopted a resolution expressing protest against a decision of the recent conference of German students to exclude Jewish students from membership in the students’ federation on the basis of their race.

Professor Albert Einstein and Captain Alfred Dreyfus have joined the list of prominent Europeans who have appealed to President Coolidge and Governor Fuller for a stay of execution for Sacco and Vanzetti, despatches from Paris and Berlin state.
Captain Dreyfus has joined with many prominent persons in France, including Madame Curie, the Marquis Guy de Lasteyre, a grandson of Lafayette, former Minister of Commerce Louis Loucher and former Minister of Finance Caillaux in an appeal to President Coolidge and Gov. Fuller.
Professor Albert Einstein, Fridjof Nansen, President Masaryk of Czechoslovakia sent telegrams to Governor Human Freedom.
Both the French and British press in discussing the case compare it to the Dreyfus affair.
