Simple rites marked the funeral services for the late Marcus Loew, who died Monday. Rabbi Aaron Eiseman officiated. The Chopin funeral march was played by Joseph Davis, organist of Temple Rodeph Sholom, New York.
More than two thousand persons were present at Pembroke, the estate of the late moving picture magnate, at Glen Cove, L. I. where the services were held. Many leaders of stage and screen who had been allied with Mr. Loew in business activities were there.
David Warfield, his friend and bussiness associate for many years, was among the mourners. The actor’s career had been closely allied with Mr. Loew’s, beginning with a chance meeting twenty-five years ago.
Hundreds of telegrams and cable massages were received from all parts of the world. A cablegram from Mayor Walker, in Venice read: “The death of my dear friend Mrcus Loew was a terrible shock. Please accept my sincere sympathy.”
Pallbearers in addition to Mr. Warfield were Nicholas M. Schenck, Adolph Zukor. Lee Shubert, John Golden. Arthur Brisbane, David Bernstein, Joseph Michaels. Will Hays, Charles M. Schwab. Edward A. Schiller. E. F. Albee, Aaron Jones and J. Robert Rubin.

Burial was in Maimonides Cemetery in the Loew family plot.
Dr. Eiseman delivered the prayer at the grave in Hebrew.
Dr. Isaac Well, retired physician and dealer one of the founders of the American Fur Merchants Association died Thursday morning at his home in New York. He was 71 years old.
