Gov. Ritchie Appoints Three Jews to Maryland Celebration Commission

Judge Eli Frank, Jacob Epstein and Sidney L. Nyburg are among the members appointed to the Maryland Tercentenary Commission by Governor Albert C. Ritchie. The commission will consider and recommend plans for the appropriate celebration of the three hundredth anniversary of the founding of the Province of Maryland.

Louis Binder was named by the Governor on the Interracial Commission, which will consider questions concerning the welfare of colored people residing in Maryland. recommend legislation and sponsor movements looking to the welfare of the colored people and to the improvement of interracial conditions.
