Succoth, the Feast of Tabernacles, will be ushered in tonight at services in Reform and Orthodox Congregations.
The Holiday, the season of the harvest, will last eight days from October 11 to October 18. the Reform congregations observing Tuesday, October 11 and October 18, the Orthodox the two additional days, Wednesday, October 12 and Wednesday, October 19, when Simchas Torah, the Festival of the Torah occurs.
The Jewish Daily Bulletin, in accordance with its custom, will not appear on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 11th and 12th, nor on October 18 and 19.
