A decision to raise a fund of $25,000 to strengthen the activities of the party in Eastern Europe was taken at the third day’s session of the sixteenth annual convention of the Poale Zion Party of America meeting at the Roosevelt Hall here.

Berl Locker. General Secretary of the International Poale Zion Bureau spoke in his address of the responsibility of American Poale Zionists in the light of present policies of American Zionist organizations which are, he asserted, hostile to labor institutions in Palestine.

Greetings were received at the convention from branches of the Poale Zion abroad and in the United States. Messages were received from the Central Executive, from the Palestine workers in Tel Aviv and from Argentine.
