Saminsky’s 3d Symphony to Have First American Performance Nov. Third

The New York Symphony announces the first American performance of the 3rd symphony of Lazare Saminsky to be given in Carnegie Hall on November the 3rd and 5th. Its first European performance was conducted by Mr. Saminsky in Paris over a year ago with the Colonne Orchestra.

Mr. Saminsky is a director of the League of Composers and is musical director of Temple Emanu-El and Beth El. Mr. Saminsky conceived his symphony on board ship on his way from Constantinople to Palestine.
