William Green, president of the American Federation of Labor, will discuss the five day working week at the national convention of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of American, which will meet in New York City. November 19, 20 and 21. Mr. Green will address the Sunday morning session at the Jewish Center, 131 W. 86th Street.
At the recent convention of the American Federation of Labor, a resolution making the five day working week a plank in the platiorm of the organization was adopted.
The Women’s Branch of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America will hold its Convention simultaneously with that of the Union.
