A chair for the study of Jewish history will be established at the University of Salonica by a decision of the Greek Ministry of Education.
The Ministry announced that Dr. Lazare Belleli, Greek Jewish scholar, will be appointed to head this department. Dr. Belleli is an authority on Jewish history, particularly on the Arabo-Spanish period.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
