(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

Sholom Asch, well known Jewish novelist, was criticized by the “Dillo,” organ of Ukrainian opinion in Eastern Galicia, in connection with the Schwartzbard trial.

The paper expresses astonishment that Mr. Asch attended a banquet in Paris at which it alleges Schwartzbard was the guest of honor. “Jewish solidarity is indeed great,” the paper writes, “when such a well known writer honors Schwartzbard, a criminal with a dubious past.”
