Straus Gives $5,000 to B’nai Benjamin Bank

Nathan Straus made his second contribution this year of $5,000 to the B’nai Benjamin, the organization of the sons of the Palestine pioneers. Announcement of the gift was made through Herman Bernstein.

A delegation of the B’nai Benjamin, Ored Benami and Ittamar Benavi, is now in the United States in the interests of the organization which was formed to assist the native farmers to settle on the land. The organization carries on its work through the B’nai Benjamin Bank which was started with a contribution of $40,000 from Mrs. Mary Fels.
