‘League of Order’ Repeats Old Libels; Poineare, League of Nations, Merely ‘Jewish Tools’ (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
Another attempt to implant anti-Semitism, the socialism of fools, in the soil of France, reiterating all the charges and accusations which have been proven falsehoods in other countries, is now being made by an organization recently established here.
The organization, which operates under the name “Ligue de l’ordre”, started the publication of a periodical “Cahiers de l’ordre”, which makes a frantic effort at furnishing a French edition of the conglomeration of anti-Jewish libels expressed in the past in so many languages and under the most divergent political conditions.
The “League of Order” preaches the gospel of hatred of “Jewish high finance and Freemasonry”. The two in its opinion are identical. Reiterating many of the slogans of the Drevfus trial period and of the campaign of Drumont, the “Cahiers de Fordre” adds the present day variety drawing freely on the present difficulties in France.
The League of Nations, whenever it renders a decision contrary to the interests of France is “controlled by the Jews.” The Jews are responsible for the unfavorable peace. The most important fact resulting from the Treaty of Versailles is the establishment of the ages and Literatures and the Department of English and Comparative Literature.
