Census of Jews in British Navy Ordered by Admiralty

A list of all the Jewish officers and men serving in the British navy was ordered by the Admiralty, it was learned today.

The order asks that in every case the rank of the officer or man concerned be given, as well as the name of the ship or station. The purpose of this special census is unknown.
