Hartford Attorney May Be Appointed Federal Judge

Dr. George H. Cohen of Hartford, Assistant United States Attorney in Connecticut, was named as possible candidate for appointment to the newly created position of Federal Judge for the district of Connecticut, by Senator Hiram Bingham of Connecticut, in an interview here.

Dr. Cohen, who has been Assistant United States Attorney for more than seven years is well known throughout New England and takes an active part in Zionist and other communal efforts. He holds the degree of Doctor of Philosophy from Yale in the field of languages.
