One million Zloty (about $110,000) was raised in Poland for the work of the Ort during the Ort month which has just been held in the country. The Ort month has been proclaimed for the purpose of raising a million Zloty.

Dr. Henry Moscowitz. the President of the American Ort, who arrived here on his return journey from Russia and Dr. A. Singalowski, member of the Central Council of the Ort. announced the successful conclusion of the campaign.

The funds will be used to establish classes to train young Jews as artisans in order to avoid the danger which threatens Jewish artisanship in the country, as a result of the new Polish Guild Law. Part of it will also be used for the development of Jewish agricultural activity in Poland.
