A pro-Palestine declaration, pledging the Austrian Government to support the efforts of the Zionist Organization to rebuild Palestine as the Jewish National Home, will be issued by the Government. The text will be published today in the Staatskorrespondenz, the official governmental organ.

In this declaration the Vienna Government promises its support for the Jewish rebuilding effort in Palestine, in all international affairs, particularly with the League of Nations.

The declaration also lays emphasis on the necessity for Austrian Jewry to support the upbuilding of Palestine.

President Hainisch and Chancellor Seipel received Nahum Sokolow, chairman of the Zionist Executive, on Friday. The audience with the Austrian president lasted an hour, while that with Premier Seipel took two hours. Premier Seipel declared that he intends to go to Palestine in August, to observe the progress made by Zionists in the country. Mgr. Seipel knows the Hebrew language.
