Iraq Jews Seek Refuge in Palestine from Persecution Arrested at Frontier

Sixteen Jewish immigrants coming from the Iraq were arrested near Metulah upon entering Palestine without proper visas.

The immigrants came from the district of Mosul because of religious persecution, bringing with them two Scrolls of the Law. They will be tried shortly.
