Mr. M. Grossman has resigned from the Board of Directors of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and has issued the following statement:
“After having for eight years conducted the affairs of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and its associated companies which I established in 1919 together with Mr. J. Landau, I have now resigned my Directorship in these companies and have parted with my holdings. I declare herewith that from February the 8th I bear no responsibility whatever for the financial affairs and activities of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and its associated companies.”
Mr. Jacob Landau, Director of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, who has come to London in order to take steps for the further development of the work of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, issued the following statement in connection with the resignation of Mr. Grossman from the Jewish Telegraphic Agency:
“On the occasion of Mr. Grossman’s resignation, I wish to state that the work of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency will be continued on the same lines as heretofore.”
Rabbi Nisen Yablonsky, dean of the Hebrew Theological College, died on Friday. Feb. 17. He had been connected with the institution for five years, since his arrival from Poland. He is survived by his widow and three daughters. The funeral took place on Monday.
