The District Court has given judgment under which the Hadar Hacarmel Cooperative Society, Limited, is to be liquidated. It was established in court that the company’s liabilities amount to £ 16,000 and its assets amount only to £ 1,000.
The court has appointed Mr. Shirley Dale as liquidator, instructing him, however, not to sell anything belonging to the company before the company’s appeal is lodged.
A victory dinner was held in Perth Amboy, N. J. Wednesday evening, in celebration of the completion of the $200,000 fund for the amortization of the mortgage on the community center erected three years ago. The mortgage was burned at the dinner. Several hundred attended the celebration.
