A mass meeting called by the leaders of the national minorities bloc to celebrate the bloc’s victory in the parliamentary elections was prohibited by the Warsaw police.

In Tomaszow-Mazowiecki, Rabbi J. Brodt, who was recently elected to parliament on the minorities bloc list, was given a triumphal reception when he arrived to become rabbi of the city.
