Seattle to Have Jewish Community Chest Soon

After many years of planning the Seattle Jewish Community Chest is soon to be a reality. The committee headed by Fred Fischer is limiting the chest to charitable and Palestinian organizations and later hopes to include all local and a national educational institutions with in its appeal.

The organizations now included in the Seattle Jewish Community Chest are: National Jewish Hospital of Denver; The Jewish Consumptive Relief Society of Denver; The National Children’s Home of Denver; the ex-Patient’s Home of Denver; the Jewish. Consumptive Relief Society of Los Angeles; the Leo N. Levi Memorial Hospital of Hot Springs, Arkansas; the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society and several Palestinian funds. The campaign will start April 16.
