Warsaw Jewish Contractor out on 100,000 Zloty Bail

Adolph Weissblatt, Jewish communal leader who was arrested following the collapse of a building he erected for the city government, was released on bail today. A bond of 100,000 Zlotys was imposed. One of the engineers, Lichtenbaum, was also released.

They will be defended by Leon Berensohn, formerly first secretary to the Polish Embassy at Washington.

FILM IN GHETTO SETTING IS NOW BEING PRODUCED

Richard Barthelmess is the star of “Roulette,” moving picture with a ghetto setting being produced by First National Pictures. The story is by Fannie Hurst.

The cast includes Lina Basquette, Margaret Livingston, Warner Oland, Bodil Rosing, Jacob Abrams.

Rabbi Fellx A. Levy, head of Temple Emanuel. was honored by 700 of the members of his congregation and friends at as dinner at the Covenant club celebrating his twentieth year in the pulpit of the congregation; B. Jacobs, president of Temple Emanenel; presided. Dr. Levy is vice president of the Chicago Rabbinical Association.
