A plan to erect a community house for the use of the Jewish population of Warsaw was presented to the Kehillah Executive.
The community house is to contain a large meeting hall, a lecture room. library, reading rooms and an art gallery. The project will involve an expense of 500,000 Zlotys.
The New York Federation of Temple Sisterhoods which held its sessions in Buffalo last week devoted itself to a discussion of the problems of adult education and direction of the young.
Rabbi Alexander Lyon of Brooklyn Dr. Nathan Krass of Temple Emann-ElI. New York. and Rabbi Joseph L. Fink of Temple Beth Zion. Buffalo. addressed the convention. Plans for work during the ensuing year were adopted.
Temple Sisterhood of Bethz Ha Tephile Asheville. N. C. has purchased the J. B. Tate residence for use as Jewish Community club and Sunday School rooms.
