Los Angeles Kehillah Adopts Constitution

With thirty-one organizations represented the Kehillah of Los Angeles adopted its constitution.

Sixty-two delegates, two from each of the various organizations, met as a board of governors with Dr. George J. Saylin. president of the Kehillah, presiding, and discussed the various articles, adopting the constitution almost as reported by the committee, by unanimous vote.

The constitution was prepared by the officers elected at a general meeting, including J. A. Rosenkrans, Aaron Shapiro. Mrs. Albert Mellinkoff, Moses Tannenbaum. Dr. J. L. Reynols, vice president, and A. Fisch. treasurer.

The California Jewish Voice, Yiddish paper published in Los Angeles, has suspended daily publication. The paper will appear as a weekly.

A. Wohliner is editor of the paper. The paper began publication as a daily in December 1927.
