31st Annual Zionist Convention to Be Held in Pittsburgh July 1st

The thirty-first annual convention of the Zionist Organization of America will be held in Pittsburgh, Pa., an offical announcement issued by Louis Lipsky on behalf of the Administrative Committee of the organization stated.

Previous plans designated Detroit or Washington as the seat of the convention.

The official announcement states that before the convention proper, a pre-conference will be held on Friday, June 29, and will be continued Saturday evening, June 30. The official opening of the convention will take place on Sunday, July 1. The proceedings will be continued until Tuesday, July 3.

A manifesto issued to the Zionist districts, Hadassah chapters, camps of the Order Sons of Zion and affiliated groups, urges the strict observance of the election regulations. Each district or group having fifty members in good standing is entitled to elect one delegate. An additional delegate may be elected for each succeeding fifty. The districts were urgd to carry on an intensive membership campaign during May.
