The trial of the Czernowitz Jewish secondary school students which was opened in Suceavu has been postponed on the motion of the Public Prosecutor, because of the absence of many of the witnesses, includeing Professor Diaconescu. The demand put by the Defending Counsel for an amnesty has been rejected.

The accused are Josef Sonderling, Leon Kogan, Berthold Baltinester, Julius Falik, Osias Pessach, Benno Schaechter, Marcel Auslaender. Peter Likornik, Philip Gelles, Eduard Brettholz. Josef Weissberg. Leon Dickmann, Ignatz Schaechter, and Berthold Brandmarker.
