Palestine Labor Leaders Injured in Auto Accident

Berl Katzenelson and Ben-Gurion, Palestine labor leaders, were injured when their automobile, in which they were going to the Socialist Youth Conference at Ben-Shomen, overturned near Ludd.

Mr. Katzenelson, who is the editor of the “Davar”, suffered a broken leg and arm. He was taken to the hospital in Tel Aviv. Mr. Ben-Gurion suffered injuries to his head and arm. Mrs. Ben-Gurion, who accompanied them and the driver’s wife received only minor injuries. The condition of none of them is serious. The driver was arrested.

LUDWIG’S LIFE OF JESUS PUBLISHED IN ENGLISH

“The Son of Man.” a life of Jesus by Emil Ludwig, noted German Jewish biographer, has been published in an English translation by Ernest Benn, Ltd., London. The translation is by Eden and Cedar Paul.

In his introduction Mr. Ludwig declares. “The author does not meddle with theology; that arose later, and he does not pretend to understand it.”
