Herr Gutterer, editor of an anti-Semitic newspaper, was sentenced by the Frankfurt court to two months imprisonment for publishing a libelous article against Rabbi Salzberger.
The attack was made upon the occasion of Rabbi Salzberger’s address at services commemorating the war dead.
