The movement for cooperation among local Jewish Women’s organizations made tremendous strides during the past years, it was declared in a statement issued by Mrs. Theodore Mack of Fort Worth, Texas, National Chairman of the Department of Community Cooperation of the Council of Jewish Women. Associations of Jewish women’s organizations have been established in the cities of Hartford, Connecticut; Stamford, Connecticut; ?, Michingan; Kansas City, Missouri; New Brunswick, New Jersey; North Shore Long Island; Rochester Staten island, and Yonkers, New York; Providence, Khode Island; Charleston, South Carolina; and Tacoma, Washington.
Approximately 60 cities have already stablished, such local associations which have been fostered by Council Sections through their Committees on Community Cooperation. Jewish women’s organizations are beginning to realize the advantages to be gained through the elimination of duplication in activities and of conflicts in dates for events and meetings, Mrs. Mack stated.
