Jacob Landau, managing director of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, sailed today on the steamer Olympic on his return to the United States.
During his stay in Europe Mr. Landau visited several countries where he took measures to reorganize and extend the cable and feature service of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
Mrs. A. J. Freiman. Dominion President of Canadian Hadasah, recently underwent an operation at the Montreal General Hospital and is now recuperating. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Freiman’s silver wedding anniversary fell on August 18th and both were the reciplents of congratulations from leading Zionists. Canadian Hadassah and the Zionist Organization of Canada plan to honor the Freimans by a jubilee celebration in the autumn, when Mrs. Freiman’s health will permit her to participate.
