Army Officers Attack Jews in Slovakian Towns

Anti-Jewish riots were perpetrated in the Slovakian town, Vagujhely, by Czechoslovak army officers during military manoeuvers there, states a despatch to the “Pester Lioyd.”

The officers molested Jewish guests at the cafes. Shouting “Shut up, you Jews” they fell upon the Jewish patrons and beat them. An investigation was ordered by the authorities at Pressburg.
