Support for the demand to change the procedure in regard to the protection of minorities came from Monsignor Seipel, Austrian Chancellor.

The Austrian Chancellor speaking on the subject in the Assembly of the League emphasized that the present method of dealing with the minorities question was unsatisfactory. The minorities rights are a solemn undertaking which cannot be ignored or given up, he said.
