Final approval of the model of the monument to Haym Salomon, the Polish-Jewish patriot of the American Revolution, has been given by the Art Commission of New York City, it was announced by Benjamin Winter, president of the Federation of Polish Jews. Mr. Winter also announced that Park Commissioner Herrick has approved the site at Broadway and Sixty-sixth Street which has been selected for the location of the statue.

The monument will follow the design submitted by Anton Schaaf, New York sculptor. The main figure of the memorial will be a life-size statue of Salomon. A semi-circular exetera, depicting with six bas reliefs in allegory, the historical period in which the American-Jewish Revolutionary patriot lived, will complete the figure.
