Plans for perfecting a local chapter of the Utah district of the Zionist Organization of America were discussed at a meeting in the Jewish Community Center and temporary officers elected as follows: Hebert M. Schiller, chairman; Rabbi J. Kikstein, Congregation Montefiore, secretary, and S. Jacobs, treasurer. Executive committee, N. Nathan, S. Shapiro and Rabbi Samuel Gordon, Temple B’nai Israel.

The Federation of Slovakian Jews is planning to establish a Slovakian School, to celchrate the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Czecho-Slovakian Republic. It will be the first Jewish school in the country with Slovakian as the language of instruction.

The will of Mrs. Susie Jacobson, of New York, who died Sept. 23, was filed for probate in Surrogates’ Court, disposing of an estate of over $400,000, directs the executors of the estate, the three children, the heirs, to distribute $10,000 among charities. Mrs. Jacobson expressed a preference for hospitals, orphan asylums and old peoples’ homes.
